Back from Mexico

Well we are back safe & sound from Mexico. We had such a great time. The hotel was a bit sketching & the food wasn't that great, but we survived. We went on 2 exursions, the first one was whale watching photoshoot, where Rich got the BEST photos ever! & we went to Las Caletas island where it was all lit by candles where we saw a show & had dinner right on the opcean front amazing! I did injure myself on the trip I hit my toe pretty good & I think it may be broken but it didnt slow me down too much.
Check these shots out!

Wow it's been a while

Wow, I haven't blogged in over a year and a half.

Lots has happened in that time. Rich & I decided to build a house in Sept. 2007 & we moved in June 2008. But Lots happened in between.

Lots of you know that we have been trying to have a baby for some time now & in January 2009 we got pregnant, we were so excited, we were due October 2009. We went for a routine 12 week ultrasound in March 2008 just after we got back from our Vegas trip and found out that we had a missed miscarriage, we were devastated!!!

In July 2008 (after moving into our new house we started trying again and lucky us we found out in August that we were expecting again. We were very excited but nervous too. All was going well until our routine 18week ultrasound where we found out that there was low amniotic fluid and our baby wasn't going to survive. We couldn't understand why this was happeneing to us. Why us what did we do to deserve this?? We were scheduled to go for another ultrasoiund to confirm things on Dec 5/08 but on December 4th my body went into labor by itself and I delivered our little boy, Connor Hogg he weigheds 10.6ounces and was 9inches long with the longest fingers & Rich says he had my nose! He only lived for about 5 minutes he was just too tiny to survive this world, we refer to him as our little music man and he is playing tunes & watching down on us all the time He was just perfect!

Now its been 8 weeks since that happened we are still grieving but every day gets better & better. In fact we are leaving in 6 hours to go to Mexico for a week! So looking forward to the rest & relaxtion of this trip. Hopefully Rich & I can connect & get back into our regular routine!

Hopefully I can get back on to blogging more than once a year!

Talk to you all in a week!

Chelle!
