Well its now Sunday long a couple days we have had, Friday hubby and I went to Denny's for supper yummy!! Then we came home to clean the house from top to bottom, I made a lasagna (for the dinner party that we hosted)
On Saturday my wonderful husband went and washed my truck and brough me home breakfast in bed, we did more cleaning, finally after 3 months we took our Christmas lights down, felt so good to get them down.
I then realized i needed a few things from the grocery store, so i went and did that got some gas came home made my dessert (got the recipe from my fellow Wedding beller RBM blog) I made Pavalova for everyone at the party (Dh is a huge fan of pavalova) we made it with a warm strawberry sauce and whip cream(so yummy) Dinner was hit!! Lasagna, Ceasar salad & garlic bread. We played a friendly game of taboo with guys against girls, and us girls got out butts beat. we continued chatting a couple hours more. We are dog sitting my mom's pup for the weekend and my friends little guy said the cutest thing " he wants to steal Gracie to bring her home with him" he loved the dessert so much he wanted some to take home with him so i packed a doggy bag for him to take home! Everyone went home around 1AM Rich and I were in bed by about 1:20 we were pretty tired and so were our dogs.
Today Rich ended up having to go to work, So the dogs and I vegged until about noon, then booked our flights to Winnipeg I have been watching for seat sales since lke January finally i found the sale i wanted and booked for June 1 we are heading to Brandon for one of my very good friends wedding, we fly out on June 1 and return June 3rd. Then i did a bit of cleaning up then showered and I am still vegging and it 5pm now! Where did the day go, guess i needed a veg day!
